Meet the Team!

My Journey to CounselingMy passion for understanding the human mind began at Wayne State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2013. I saw firsthand how mental health challenges touch every community, and I became dedicated to providing compassionate, effective care.
This commitment led me to Central Michigan University, where I graduated with my Master’s in Professional Mental Health Counseling in 2021. Since then, I have spent over four years working directly with individuals and families, helping them navigate their unique challenges and build more fulfilling lives.
My Approach & Specializations
I specialize in providing therapy for adults and children dealing with:
Anxiety & Depression: Overcoming overwhelming thoughts and feelings to find joy and calm.
ADHD & Neurodiversity: Building practical skills for focus and organization while celebrating unique strengths. This includes supporting adults exploring Autism spectrum diagnoses.
Grief & Loss: Finding a path forward after significant change and heartache.
Professional & Academic Stress: Managing burnout, perfectionism, and the pressures of performance.
My approach is integrative, drawing on evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). This means we’ll work together to identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthy coping skills, and build a toolkit of strategies you can use for a lifetime.
Most importantly, I believe therapy isn’t about “fixing” what’s wrong with you. It’s about uncovering your inherent strengths and resilience in a safe, non-judgmental space.
My Commitment to Inclusive Care
My practice is rooted in a profound commitment to social justice. I am dedicated to serving marginalized and oppressed communities and providing a therapeutic space that is affirming and culturally responsive. Everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported.
Why I Do This Work
I believe that asking for help is a sign of profound strength. It would be an honor to walk beside you or your child on this journey toward healing, growth, and empowerment.
